Caribbean Magic Steelband was founded on September 8th, 1993, by Sheldon James Musical Director and Leader of the group. The foundation members were Hayden Charles, Lincoln Henry, Miguel Lopez and Nigel Pierre. The group is an all steeldrum band and during it's inception to present, has been able to impact on audiences throughout the Caribbean, North America, Europe and Japan. Caribbean Magic has a very versatile repertoire whisc includes jazz,calypso, reggae and one of the largest classical repertoire on pan. The band has released two compact discs entitled "Caripantastic Pan Favourite Melodies" and "Classical Favourites". The group is managed by Gerard Jackson Public relation officer with BPTT Trinidad, and contributes its growth and successes mostly in part to it's togetherness, professionalism, communication and practice.
